another great day! Stella really is a litte treasure. i have been moving my caravan and awning to a new pitch in the sunshine so i havent had time for play and walkies much. she has been as good as gold sitting either in her crate or in the back of my car watching all the comings and goings. we eventually got out for a walk around tea time and she went nuts! running around with Lucy, faith, and Roxy like a tazmanian devil - no training today - just a good old romp with her new friends. she is now flat out on the bed next to me snuggled up to Lucy, who has one paw over her just to make sure she doesnt go anywhere. They are taking it in turns opening one eye to see what the other one is doing....very funny to watch.

must pay these lovely girls lots of attention tomorrow and will try and take some more pics. camera wasnt broken - the batteries were flat

update

Stella just goes from strength to strength
she is picking up loads of good behaviour from Lucy who keeps her in order when she gets a bit too boisterous. the jumping up issue is now very half hearted compared to how she was when she first came to me. there have been a couple of full on squabbles between Stella and Lucy which I have stopped - one over a piece of paper (????????) and one over a bone (both dogs had one each but couldnt decide who's was who's). in the main, they get on really well and sort out their differences quickly and kiss and make up (literally,....one will lick the other's muzzle when rough play or squabble is over).

This week i am at my daughter's house looking after her as she has had her carpel tunnel operation. my grandson has learning difficulties and is finding Stella a bit of a handful but she is loving all the attention she is getting. We all hope to be back home and back to normal next week sometime....
catch up with you guys then...and i should have some more pics of Stella and Lucy on their holiday in Brighton...

Stella gets a forever home!

YAHAY!!!! all my hard work to steady her up has paid off!!! a lovely retired couple came to see her today having met Jayne who runs the rescue on a car boot sale where she was raising funds. within an hour of leaving they were back with their daughter, son in law, and their staffy to make sure that the two dogs would get on. it was love at first sight! Stella seemed to know that Tyler has vision problems and was really calm around him. The two dogs played like star crossed lovers for over an hour without so much as a curled lip! She goes to her new home in just over a week's time when the couple get back of a pre booked holiday.

I shall really miss her...she has become part of our family and everyone who knows us comments on how much she has improved in just the short space of time that i have had her in my care. What a rewarding exercise this has been! I have enjoyed every minute of watching her learning and growing and both Lucy and I will miss her but there will be space in the dog crate and in our hearts for another Pound Puppy who needs our help!!!! Lets hope all my fosters are as successful as this one has been!
