Giz was ok with thunderstorms, it was flies he was afraid of. If there was a fly in the house he would hide behind a chair and shake, it would take me finding the fly, killing it and then soothing him to get him to stop shaking. It was kind of funny lol

One of my used to play during hailstorms. Now he is absolutely terrified. The other showed some potential for concern, but I got her out of it by inventing games like "happy thunder boomer dance" I'm experimenting with teaching the frightened one to howl during thunder, but I expect it will just irritate my neighbors.

Whatever works, I guess.

I have one who used to be petrified of thunder but it only started after an Air show on the Marine base we used to live on. They had mock bombs every few hours for about 3 days and scared the crap out of my used to be fearless dog! He is getting much better though! I used to have to sedate him because he would shiver and cry and hide under the tightest places he could find. Now he just sits up and looks around with his ears alert and I turn up the T.V. and then he lays back down and relaxes. The others could care less though, don't even act like they hear it. They won't go out if it is raining though... prissy boys don't want to get thier feet wet! LOL

My pups will play in it if I let them. They are not allowed though. Only if it's raining. No thunder or lightening. Ty is really the only one that gets clingy. but he will investigate if he needs too.

All 4 of my babies dont mind t-storms. They go on like nothing is happening. My Taz used to love to run out in the rain playing fetch. Water used to collect in our backyard and formed a "lake" she would run across it full speed, funny thing she would lift her back hurt leg, and run doing this...we nick named her the "three legged water beetle" so funny.
Other dogs just avoid getting wet, but not fearfull.
