How we trained a well Behaved dog

I have found the BEST Dog training package ever!!! My girlfriend and I have a labrador named BOOGA. When we got him, we didnt bother to take him to dog obediance classes which mean't that we had a really naughty labrador on our hands. He pulled on his leash when walking, chewed up shoes, nibbled on our furniture and always jumped up on our visitors. After buying various books and getting information from the website on dog obediance, we came across a training kit that gave us AMAZING results!! 3 months later, Booga is now a very well behaved labrador, so much so, that he is now going to be the ring bearer in our church wedding in October 07. I totally recommend this kit. go to www.diydogtraining.blogspot.com Good Luck fellow dog lovers....

Interesting - though a lot of what it covers is basic stuff owners should have researched BEFORE getting a dog. However it sounds like it did your dog the world of good - am pleased you got such good results.

Wow, congrates. thats sounds nice. I feel my dog is pretty well behaved, but he still gets over exited. I am taking him to some adult training. I feel alittle time in some calsses give people and dogs a great idea of what eachother is thinking!

Please... help fight BSL.
Not for me, but for them.

"If You Want To Learn How To Quickly And Easily Train Your Doggie To Be Well Behaved At All Times......... If You Want To Quickly Solve A Behavior Problem Your Dog Has......And If You Are FED UP Reading All The Hype And Claims From Many So Called EXPERTS...................Then Please.... Take A Few Minutes To Read What Real Actual Dog Owners Had To Say About This Unique Training Package."

OK, this is something that the website says about it's package. And I have some simple statements to contradict.

First of all, I don't care who you are and what your dog does, there are STILL many ways your dog will not pay attention to you. Do you know the exact reasons why your dog was pulling on the leash, chewing up shoes? OK, no dog is disbehaving. It's simply being a 'misinformed' dog. If this package explained to you that if your dog does that they're disbehaving, you are looking at a terrible site. "Be well behaved at all times" is a very disgusting, crude statement that someone can say about a dog. Name one human on this earth that is well behaved at all times. In fact, name one dog. I am an obediance instructor, and allow me to explain, we have a very well behaved dog. But, he does have instinctive drift (as any dog has) which is when a dog finds the better reward in chewing up furniture, chasing squirrels, etc, no matter what the punishment is that follows. Please understand that you can't TEACH a dog that has a TEMPERMENT problem. Chewing on shoes is a behavior problem. Pulling on the leash is a behavior problem. Behavior problems can be altered. Temperment problems are the underlying problems as to WHY your dog does this. Maybe your dog is chewing on shoes when you're gone, making messes on the floor (even though it's housetrained), scracthing up windowblinds, etc, this is behavior problems. But these are all signs of Seperation Anxiety. OK, everyone probably knows, Seperation Anxiety can't be FIXED! It can be masked, and you can make a dog feel more comfortable being at home alone, but you can't stop the feelngs altogether. No matter what anyone claims, if you take away what you've done to comfort them (a bone, Comfort Zone, etc) they will go back tot he same problem, they've only masked it.

Also, what "CLAIMS" do experts make? Do they claim that things will help YOUR dog? I'm assuming not. The claims state they will help a dog! Doesn't mean it will help everyone. So the little 'so called' experts are really experts all the time. (And you don't have to go to college or take classes to be an expert on dogs)

"Read What Real Actual Dog Owners Had To Say About This Unique Training Package." - OK, this is a statement that cracks me up. They actually had to say that they were real?

OK, so what is so unique about it?

I personally am not for this new package, it totally misinforms people, and it probably says they same things, just in a different way, that any book or video will say.

Understand ANY form of dog training (Obediance, agility, protection, etc), no matter what, any book you get, it's not trying to sell you the methods. It's trying to sell you one way to do it. Understand there are THOUSANDS of ways that dogs need to be trained. Dogs are different. Every dog is unique and people need to realize that they shouldn't just flip right to the tips and tricks in any dog training book. Every book will explain this information.

In my opinion, they are just scamming new dog owners for excessive prices. A 124 dollar value? YEA RIGHT! Ask a REAL dog trainer!

Relax, there are no need to take insults towards other members, especially if they comments weren't directed at you. I'm sorry, that's a little childish. And I was stating coments on what I saw about the product. I said I wouldn't recomend it. I said I didn't like it. Did I say you didn't like it? Did I say it doesn't work? No. So please don't insult and charge at people until you read entire text and understand what it's directed towards.

And just so you know, it says SPECIALIST not Expert.
