Question timid gsd working dog

I have a 21 month male GSD that is used for narcotics detection that has developed a fear of being inside the prison, how can i train this out of him.

Wow after all the training he has had and all the experience
I wonder what caused a sudden fear like that?
This is something you need a behavourist to help with.
The tecniques used for a pet like instilling confidence with
gentle and kind coaxing and treats would certainly not be
the choice for a working dog at all.
Does your dog have a reward for finding the narcotics? Like
a chew rag or similar? Or is the reward a " Good Boy"?

For a working dog I would call the Professionals.

Your post seems a little odd due to the impression you gave that you are in law enforcement and your dog has been professionally trained. Why ask your question on a dog forum instead of consulting the K9 academy?
