Unhappy Dog peeing on other dog

For some reason my female dog is peeing on one of my male dogs. Samantha is the oldest 9 and then there is Jake he is 5 or so. Every time he has to go to the bathroom she will fellow him and pee on his butt and tail. If we are home we stop her from going out when he gose. Jake knows that if she pees on him he gets a bath so he ends up going inside at times. I just don't know what to do anymore. If you can help me i could really use it.

wow, that is the strangest thing I have ever heard.
First thing I would rule out is a Urinary Tract problem in the female.
when that is proven not to be the case, I would call a behaviourist
perhaps thru a trainer or a Vet and see what they have to say.
If it is a dominance issue, you may be able to correct the behaviour.
It is just so bizarre I cannot imagine what would start this type
of behaviour.

I haven't heard of a dog doig that but I had a male cat that would spray any other male cat that came into our yard. When we got him fixed he stopped doing it is your girl spayed? I would just watch them and not let her near him if you think she is going to pee on him maybe put her on a leashwhen you take them out so she is still part of the fun but you can still conrtoll her

Our neighbor's dog used to do that to my Dad's little Sheltie ( Male vs. Female). Happened every day for a month. Both dogs were fixed and the neighbor's dog would travel for 3 miles every day just to pee on her, so it coudn't have been an issue over territory (could it?). Our GSD finally caught him in the act 1 day and chased him off, but we never did figure out why he kept on doing it either. Good luck.

I can't help you but I can tell you that I have a problem with my stud Papillon. When he pees he stands on his front legs, body up in the air, and pees down his chest. It's so nasty, messy. Anyone out there have a male that does that?

DMS, my oldest did that to my parents' dog when we became his parents....it is disgusting, and I'm sorry, it's hilarious at the same time! I have no advice. My vet told me it was a dominance thing. I would follow, wait until he was in the act, then pull him away and tell him sternly NO. He finally stopped after about two weeks of that.
I know it's not much help, but you are definitely not alone!

Who pees last pees bestest!

I have 3 adult female daxies and one adult male. It's laughable to watch them pee in the garden, everyone wants to pee where someone else has peed. They stand in line and wait to pee behind each other. The dominance changes as to who is in season. Tinkerbell is in season this month so she pees last on top of where everyone else has been!!!
Lovely subject!
